The first compact SUV in the history of the Porsche brand was presented to the world in November 2013 at the same time at the Los Angeles and Tokyo motor shows. To match the older "brother" in the person of the Cayenne, the crossover received not only the basic S-versions, but also tried on the "top" performance Turbo, under the hood of which a high-performance gasoline "six" was "registered". In November 2015, the Germans slightly modernized their "brainchild", expanding the list of equipment.

The appearance of the most powerful "Makan" differs from the "Eski" only in some details: a more powerful front bumper with enlarged ventilation slots, four trapezoidal exhaust pipes and 19-inch rims (although larger "rollers" are available).

The overall length of the Porsche Macan Turbo is 4699 mm (18 mm longer than the S), its width and height are 1923 and 1624 mm, respectively, and the distance between the axles does not exceed 2807 mm. The vehicle's ground clearance is regulated by air suspension in the range from 180 to 230 mm.

Inside the Macan Turbo, the real Porsche is flesh and blood, starting with the "family" design and ending with high-quality finishing and excellent ergonomics (in general, everything is the same as in the basic version). The car offers a comfortable and sporty tenacious seating for the driver and front passenger, and the rear sofa will only be comfortable for two riders.

At a time, the "turbocharged Makan" is able to take on board from 500 to 1500 liters of luggage (the volume depends on the position of the back of the "gallery"). In the underground niche of the "hold" there is a place for a flat spare wheel of compact dimensions, a compressor for pumping it and a set of tools.

Specifications. The top-end Porsche Macan is equipped with a V-shaped six-cylinder 3.6-liter engine, sporting a pair of different-sized turbochargers, direct injection, phase shifters at the inlet and outlet, intake valve travel adjustment technology and a start / stop function. Maximum "six" develops 400 "purebred horses" at 6000 rpm and 550 Nm of peak traction supplied to the wheels in the range from 1350 to 4500 rpm.
She is assisted by a PDK “robot” of seven ranges with a two-plate clutch and an active all-wheel drive with a multi-plate clutch (electronically controlled), which transfers traction to the front and rear wheels in the proportions necessary, according to the road situation.

From a place to the first "hundred", the German crossover "shoots" in just 4.8 seconds, and to the maximum conquers the mark of 266 km / h.
In combined driving conditions, the Makan requires an average of 9.2 liters of gasoline for every 100 km of run.

At the heart of the Porsche Macan Turbo is an MLB / MLP bogie with a double-lever at the front and a multi-lever at the rear (in both cases with pneumatic elements), as well as an electromechanical power steering mounted on the steering rack.
"In a circle" the crossover is equipped with ventilated discs of the brake system with a diameter of 360 mm on the front and 356 mm on the rear wheels, supplemented by the PSM complex (ABS, ASR, ABS, MSR, etc.).

Prices and equipment. Macan Turbo is offered to Russian buyers at a price of 5 530 000 rubles. For that kind of money, you get eight airbags, leather upholstery, three-zone "climate", adaptive power steering, bi-xenon headlights, "rollers" 19 inches, a premium audio system, a navigator, sports front seats with memory, heating and electrically adjustable and much more ...
