Designers and engineers of the Nissan company, as always, very seriously approached the creation of the next Infiniti novelty. The novelty is the premium coupe G37, which has a solid interior, good dynamic performance and generally looks great. In the creation of the Infiniti G37, various modern systems were applied, and the powerful engine and “smart suspension” allow this coupe to be driven very confidently and quickly.

The Infiniti G37 stands out unambiguously in the gray stream of cars - it is a bright, beautiful, fast-moving car capable of attracting a lot of envious and interested glances.

By the way, the Infiniti G37 coupe has become a continuation of the G35 sedan - you can easily guess this for general design reasons. If we talk about the individuality of the Infiniti G37, then, first of all, it should be noted the "inflated" fenders, rear spoiler and side skirts.
The interior of the Infiniti G37, trimmed with leather and high-quality plastic, took over the luxury of a sedan. And the center console and door inserts are made of aluminum.
The driver of the G37 coupé and the front passenger can easily find a comfortable position. There is also enough space behind the car - two adults of average build can easily accommodate there. But “as it should be in a coupe” - it is not so easy to take and leave the second row of seats.

By the way, the exhaust system of the Infiniti G37 consists of two equal-length exhaust manifolds with reduced exhaust back pressure at the outlet. As a result, the engine "breathes easier" - it runs smoother and sounds great.
After starting the engine, we transfer the automatic transmission lever to the “D” mode and our sports car, without delay, but quite evenly responds to pressing the gas pedal. With intensive use of the accelerator, the machine quickly shifts to a lower gear, which is why acceleration is more active. But driving in this mode is not interesting.

Therefore, we move the gear lever to the “S” position - this completely changes the character of the car. Pedal responses are quicker and the gears are cranked up to 7,500 rpm. The manual mode of the Infiniti G37 is practically the same as the automatic mode. Weighing in at two tons, the Infiniti G37's dynamics are simply amazing - acceleration to 100 km / h is achieved in 6 seconds. The secret of this result is in the engine modified by engineers. It was based on the engine from the G35, increasing the volume to 3.7 liters. In addition, a hydraulic control system for the gas distribution mechanism and electronic control of the intake valve angles (VVEL) were used. As a result, the engine power was reached - 333 hp, and the torque was increased to 363 Nm, and fuel consumption was also reduced (and, as a result, the emission of harmful substances also decreased).
In addition to the introduction of various systems, changes were made to the design of the engine. For example, the height of the cylinder block, the diameter of the main journal of the crankshaft and the studs are increased. A stepped crankcase and a double knock sensor are used.

When driving an Infiniti G37, you constantly feel that you are driving a fast but heavy car - the forces of inertia do not disappear anywhere. But, in this case, the abundance of auxiliary systems helps to fight them.
First, the steering wheel. It is tight, even a little heavy, and has good feedback. The steering uses a two-channel hydraulic power steering with progressive force dependent on speed.
Secondly, the suspension. Roll of the Infiniti G37, even when cornering at high speed, is minimal. This was achieved by installing a multi-link suspension on the car (front and rear). To reduce weight and effectively damp unwanted vibrations, some of the suspension parts are made of aluminum.

The Infiniti G37 coupe is offered in two trim levels. The main (and practical only) difference is the presence in the more expensive version of the steering system of all four wheels (4WAS). It is difficult to notice the operation of the system in motion, but the activity of the system is aimed at increasing controllability. This system works automatically - the 4WAS electronic control unit, depending on the speed and steering angle, changes the gear ratio of the steering mechanism and the geometry of the rear suspension using built-in drive mechanisms.
Although this was not enough for the engineers, and therefore the G37 as standard is equipped with a limited-slip differential with a viscosity clutch (VLSD). When maneuvering, this helps to maintain a given trajectory.

By the way, engineers not only made sure that the premium coupe Infiniti G37 drove fast, they also worked hard to ensure that (no matter how it sounds) Infiniti G37 brakes well. Pressing the gas pedal is accompanied by intensive deceleration G37. All brake discs are ventilated. The diameter of the front is 355 mm, and the diameter of the rear is 350 mm. For better heat dissipation, the calipers are made of aluminum alloy. And for more effective braking, they are four-piston in the front, and two-piston in the back.
