The second-generation Fiat Doblo demountable modification made its official debut in November 2009, having changed in comparison with its predecessor on all fronts - it received a redrawn exterior and interior, enlarged in size and seriously changed in technical terms.

In September 2014, an updated van was presented to a wide audience, and the changes affected the external and internal design the most, but also affected the list of equipment and the powertrain palette.

For all its utility, the “second” Fiat Doblo Cargo has an attractive, elegant and proportional look, moreover, there are no contradictory elements in its appearance. Aggressive front end with a piercing gaze of headlights and a radiator grille blurred in a "smile", a harmonious profile with embossed wheel arches and expressive "folds" on the sidewalls, a steep stern to a double-leaf luggage door and vertically oriented lanterns - this is how Italians see a modern van. Moreover, it differs from the passenger version only by blind plugs instead of rear glazing.

The overall length of Doblo in the cargo version is 4406-4756 mm, its height reaches 1895-1927 mm, and its width does not exceed 1832 mm. Between the pairs of wheels, the car has a base measuring 2755 or 3105 mm (depending on the version), and under the bottom there is a 180 mm ground clearance.

The curb weight of the van varies from 1370 to 1540 kg, and on board it can take from 750 to 1000 kg of luggage.

Inside, the second generation Fiat Doblo Cargo looks no less attractive and stylish than outside. In addition to this, the car has no obvious ergonomic blunders, and the workmanship is at a solid level. The neatly designed center console contains a radio tape recorder and an air conditioning control unit, and at the driver's workplace there is a three-spoke multi-steering wheel and a combination of devices thought out to the smallest detail.

In the Doblo delivery compartment there are two seats - conveniently profiled seats with moderately developed lateral support rollers and sufficient adjustment ranges are installed for the driver and passenger.

The main advantage of the van is the luggage compartment: depending on the modification, its volume varies from 3.4 to 5.4 cubic meters. At the same time, access to the cargo compartment is provided not only by means of the rear hinged "leaves", but also through the sliding side doors.

A wide range of powertrains is offered for the "second" Fiat Doblo Cargo:

  • The petrol range includes a 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine equipped with multipoint injection, variable valve timing and 16 valves, which is available in two versions:
    • atmospheric, producing 95 "mares" at 6000 rpm and 127 Nm of torque at 4500 rpm;
    • and turbocharged, the potential of which has 120 "horses" at 5000 rpm and 206 Nm of available thrust at 2000 rpm.
  • The diesel range includes "fours" with a volume of 1.6-2.0 liters with turbocharging, 16-valve timing and direct injection, generating 90-135 horsepower and 290-320 Nm of torque.

By default, the motors work in conjunction with the "mechanics" for six gears and the drive wheels of the front axle.

The van copes with the first "hundred" after 11.3-15.4 seconds, and its "maximum speed" varies from 158 to 179 km / h, depending on the modification.

Gasoline versions of the car "drink" about 7.2 liters of fuel in combined conditions, and diesel - 5.5-5.9 liters.

Fiat Doblo Cargo of the 2nd incarnation is based on a front-wheel drive architecture called "Fiat Small". At the front, the van boasts an independent McPherson-type suspension with a lateral stabilizer and coil springs, and at the rear - a dependent structure with longitudinally spaced springs.

The car is equipped with ventilated brake discs with a diameter of 284 mm at the front and drum mechanisms measuring 228 mm at the rear axle, supplemented by ABS and EBD. The Italian "heel" is equipped with a rack-and-pinion steering system, in which the power steering is integrated.

In the Russian market, the "second" Fiat Doblo Cargo in 2018 is offered exclusively with a short wheelbase and gasoline engines at a price of 1,030,000 rubles.

In the basic version, the car has: two frontal airbags, steel wheels measuring 15 inches, audio preparation, two power windows, ABS, EBD, outside mirrors with heating and electrical settings, a tire pressure monitoring system, air conditioning and some other "chips".

For a fee, the van can be equipped with: a multimedia system with a 5-inch screen, standard "music", "cruise" with a speed limiter and other modern equipment.
