In March 2014, at the Geneva Motor Show, the Italian supercar manufacturer Ferrari showed the public an updated version of the California coupe-cabriolet, which received the letter "T" to its name. The car retained the basic proportions and features of its predecessor, but it looked prettier in appearance and became the first road representative of the brand in the last 22 years to receive a turbo engine under the hood.
The "stallion" from Maranello stands out for its beautiful and spectacular appearance, regardless of whether the metal roof is raised or lowered. The "face" of the supercar flaunts the aggressive "mouth" of the air intake, the bumper with sharp lines and "predatory" headlights, and the stern - the "family" round lights with LED filling and a huge diffuser with four pipes of the exhaust system. The 19-inch wheel rims and the embossed contours of the sidewalls also contribute to completing the sporty look.
The length of the Ferrari California T is 4570 mm, the height does not exceed 1322 mm, and the width is 1910 mm. Of the total length, 2670 mm are allocated to the wheelbase, and the size of the front and rear track is 1630 mm and 1605 mm, respectively. "Connection" to the road surface is provided by "rollers" 19 inches, dressed in tires of standard size 245/40 at the front and 285/40 at the rear.
The interior of the coupe-cabriolet fully corresponds to the traditions of the Italian brand - beautiful design, well-thought-out ergonomics and a high level of performance. The most important governing bodies are concentrated on the multifunctional steering wheel, and behind it is an informative instrument panel with an analogue tachometer and speedometer, as well as a color "display" of the on-board computer. The center console is reserved for the 6.5-inch display of the multimedia complex and the control unit for the dual-zone "climate", and at the very top of it "settled" the boost performance indicator.
Formally, the interior of the Ferrari California T is four-seater, but if the front seats are equipped with a brightly developed profile and electrically adjustable (optionally also heated and ventilated), then the rear seats are purely nominal, and you can only put a soft toy on them. For the transport of luggage, the coupe-convertible offers a 240-liter "hold" (with the roof folded down).

Its "ceiling" of possibilities falls on 316 km / h, and the average fuel consumption in the combined cycle is declared at around 10.5 liters per 100 km of run.
The Italian "stallion" is built on a space frame made of "winged" metal with independent spring suspension of both axles - double wishbones at the front and a multi-link structure at the rear (in both cases, adaptive shock absorbers are used). In a dry state, the supercar weighs 1625 kg, of which 47% "presses" on the front and 53% on the rear. A hydraulic booster is integrated into the steering system, and powerful carbon-ceramic brakes with ABS technology are installed on all four wheels.
