The second incarnation of the seven-seater "minivan" Citroen Grand C4 Picasso made its world debut in September 2013 at the Frankfurt Motor Show, and it reached the Russian market on April 1, 2014 (along with the "younger" model - "C4 Picasso" of the second generation.

In May 2016, the car underwent a restyling, which affected the exterior, interior, equipment list and powertrain palette.

The exterior of the Citroen Grand C4 Picasso is based on the 5-seater C4 Picasso, but the 7-seater minivan received a different front bumper, an elongated body, slightly modified windows in the front pillars and, of course, in the rear.

In terms of dimensions, the Grand C4 Picasso is longer and slightly taller than its "younger" brother: body length - 4600 mm, width - 1830 mm, and height - 1640 mm. The wheelbase of the "Grand" version is also increased - 2840 mm.

The interior of the Citroen Grand C4 Picasso has a layout similar to the C4 Picasso, with the exception of the presence of a third row of seats (intended more for children). And, of course, thanks to the increased wheelbase (and overall dimensions), the "Grand version" has a much more spacious luggage compartment - from a minimum 643 liters (with a maximum "passenger capacity") to an impressive 2,181 liters (with the seats of the third and second row).

The rest of the interior design and equipment is identical to the 5-seater version, so we will not dwell on this point.

Specifications. The line of motors in the "Grand-version" is similar to the standard C4 Picasso. The single-dispenser is equipped with two in-line "turbo fours" with a volume of 1.6 liters - a 16-valve THP gasoline unit, which develops 150 horsepower at 5000 rpm and 240 Nm of peak thrust at 1400 rpm, and a BlueHDi 8-valve diesel, which produces 120 " stallions "at 3500 rpm and 300 Nm of torque at 1750 rpm.
The engines are mated with a 6-band "automatic" and a non-alternative drive to the front wheels.

Depending on the modification, the first three-digit number on the speedometer is subdued by the car after 9.3-11.5 seconds, and its "maximum speed" is 189-200 km / h.

Petrol versions of the five-door "drink" 6.4 liters of fuel in mixed conditions, and diesel - 4 liters.

The Citroen Grand C4 Picasso minivan is built on the basis of the EMP2 modular platform and received front-wheel drive, front independent suspension on MacPherson struts, rear semi-independent suspension with a torsion beam, electric power rack and pinion steering, disc brakes and ABS, EBD, ESP systems are already in the basic configuration.

Options and prices. In Russia, the Citroen Grand C4 Picasso 2017 is provided in three trim levels - "Live", "Feel" and "Shine".
The initial version of the car costs at least 1,599,000 rubles, while for the "top modification" you will have to pay at least 1,968,000 rubles. In terms of standard and optional equipment, the car is identical to the five-seater model.
